Weekly photo challenge: Vivid

Vivid; adjective strikingly bright or intense, as color, light, etc. full of life; lively It is fun to dress up when exploring new places. And the strong and rich Balinese culture makes me want to do just that. This island with over 4 million population (according to 2014 census on Wikipedia) is definitely a place where one should return after their first visit. P/S oh! and the little girl in my featured image, she’s my niece 🙂

The Candi Borobudur

I am currently updating from Manohara Hotel, Borobudur. Today is my second visit to Borobudur. My first was in 2010. Because it is the weekend, the temple gets very crowded. Also, there will be Buddhist procession. Minus the crowd, it is great to finally meet Candi Borobudur again. And my stay at Manohara is pleasant. But how did  I get here is another story. I haven’t been having enough sleep so I am going to bed. This is just an update 🙂

Planning Indonesia

I have been to Indonesia thrice. Next month will be my fourth and this time, I will be exploring the country with my mom. The thing about this daughter-mother trip is I don’t know where to begin. I have the starting point and I know where it will end. I do not have the in between. I definitely want to revisit Jogja and Borobudur. When we should do it, I do not know. The other day, mom asked whether I had everything planned. I was flipping through the LP guide book and shrugged. “Nah, read this.” It has been two weeks now. I am still waiting for my mom to tell me about places she wants to visit.
