14 weeks to Denmark

After months of contemplating, I finally bought my Emirates round-trip ticket at RM3411. I bought my ticket on August 29 and I’d like to think that this rate is pretty decent considering it was RM3600++ the day before and I was so close to booking it! Definitely looking forward to flying. At the meantime, I am just keeping myself busy with works.

Planning Denmark

On a fine Monday afternoon of May 26, I am already thinking of December. It has been decided and everything that has to do with making a booking will be done real soon. As I am typing this, I am also thinking about moving and the exquisite smell that my hair produces. Not that it smells bad but somehow I am smelling December. It will be winter and it will be my first solo winter travelling. So I wouldn’t want to exceed my weight limit by stuffing all heavy coats and sweaters in my backpack and bringing you-think-you-need-them-but-you-don’t items. On places to go, I do have my list but Denmark is so expensive, so I am avoiding places that will suck-dry my pocket. But while I am at it, I am also now thinking whether I should go Oslo …

I have been to many amazing places and seen many amazing wonders. But nothing is comparable to standing in front of a mind blowing ancient architecture dated back to the first century AD. Every place has its own unique beauty that one cannot compare and the Al-Khazneh, is breathtaking – a word that came to mind the moment the Treasury Building, as they called in English, was revealed to me as I reached the end of the Siq.
