Next stop … Ipoh

I had a four-day leave to attend a long distance cousin’s wedding in Kuala Lumpur and a day off cum family date the following day. My holidays, from Sept 19 to 23, were well spent with close friends and family. I am now sitting in front of my computer screen and typing all this while waiting for my 3.30pm assignment. Today is a welcome-back-to-work day but unlike the usual back-to-busy-schedule week, I get to spend another day of work tomorrow before packing again. This Friday, I will be flying to Kuala Lumpur and taking a train to Ipoh, Perak. I haven’t been to Ipoh since my last visit in 2000/2001 and I couldn’t remember anything about Ipoh because I was there for a sport competition and that was it. So for this coming trip, I am definitely looking forward to visit Kellie’s Castle and other places worth visiting.

Have you ever been so bored in the office that you just want to grab your bag and go? I am feeling exactly that and it is only 2.35pm. I have completed my news for the day and decided to rant a little. My mind is doing the talking as I am typing all these sentences.

I would migrate to Copenhagen

If there is one city I would like (and want) to live in, it will be København. The cycling community has made me fall in love with this beautiful and bike-friendly city. I will see you in December. Photos credit to Cycle Chic.

Planning Denmark

On a fine Monday afternoon of May 26, I am already thinking of December. It has been decided and everything that has to do with making a booking will be done real soon. As I am typing this, I am also thinking about moving and the exquisite smell that my hair produces. Not that it smells bad but somehow I am smelling December. Sitting towards the end of May, the 12th month of the year is not a long way to go. This means I need to plan now on what to bring and items to avoid bringing to Denmark. It will be winter and it will be my first solo winter travelling. So I wouldn’t want to exceed my weight limit by stuffing all heavy coats and sweaters in my backpack and bringing you-think-you-need-them-but-you-don’t items. On places to go, I do have my list but Denmark is so expensive, so I am avoiding places that will suck-dry my pocket. But while I am at it, I am also now thinking whether I should go Oslo …
